Lake Geneva Symphony Orchestra “Symphony Gala” was held Feb. 16 at the Riviera Ballroom in Lake Geneva. Badger Junior Matt Frazier, first place winner at the 2012 Young Artist Concerto Competition and Rotary Club of Lake Geneva Neal Heffernan Art Scholarship. The concert was a fundraiser for the orchestra. The evening included a concert by LGSO with the theme of “Masks.” The evening included a silent auction with items donated by individuals or local businesses. The proceeds from the auction go to fund the outreach programs in Walworth County by the LGSO. LGSO also provides annual Young Artist Scholarships to talented students in the Geneva Lakes area. On bahalf of the musicians of the LGSO, thanks to everyone who attended the 2013 Gala and supported with auction donations. The musicians had a great time performing, and the evening was a smashing success.
