Whippets win streak ends against Monroe

The Whippets four-game winning streak came to an end at Monroe on Dec. 22 when Whitewater fell to its opponent 77-60.

The Whippets were led in scoring by senior Logan Rasmussen with 16 points, while Daniel Fuller put up 14 in the loss. Bryce Parrish and Roberto Navajas were the other two players in the double digits with 10 points apiece.

Monroe was led by Alex Tordoff with 24, while Carter Sawdey had 16 in the win. Three other players for Monroe contributed six points each in the win.

Whitewater dropped to 5-2 with the road loss.

The Whippets will look to bounce back in two upcoming road games. They will head to Evansville Jan. 3 before playing at Jefferson on Jan. 6.
