The Whitewater Whippets have had a tough go of it this season thus far, and playing Big Foot last Friday night did not make life any easier for them. A 19-point second quarter explosion helped Big Foot defeat the Whippets 33-0, handing the Whippets their second scoreless game of the season.

Starting quarterback Josh Nast was 4-of-14 for 34 yards and an interception. Mitchel Ruhl got some time behind center and finished 3-4 for 17 yards and an interception. Running back Jordan Peterson also threw a pass that was good for 36 yards.

The Whippets rushed for 43 yards total on 17 carries, a bulk of that picked up by Jimmy Duval (28). Peterson also rushed for 18 yards and on the receiving end Bryan Parker caught three passes for 55 yards.

For Big Foot, Brett Morris passed for 142 yards on 10 completions with two touchdowns. Brandon Hausner carried the ball 28 times for 162 yards and another two scores. Chandler Hehr caught seven passes for 115 yards and the two passing scores.

Coming up next, the Whippets have a match against 0-3 Parkview, who is also having a rough start though the Whippets hope to be the team to notch a win following that contest.
