Big Foot golf team to focus on individual play

‘Effort still matters in a tough situation’ coach says

Low numbers are the main concern this spring for longtime Big Foot boys golf coach Bob Sullivan.

But the situation didn’t catch him entirely off guard.

Big Foot enters the season with just five players in the program, which changes the approach from team to individual, Sullivan said.

“The expectations are to get these kids as much experience as possible and find major improvement,” he said. “We won’t ever have a full team in events, so it will be a winless (dual) season.”
