Golfers finish fourth at mini-meet

The Big Foot High School boys golf team posted a score of 208 Monday afternoon, good for fourth place at an Rock Valley Conference

mini-meet at the Big Foot Country Club.

Clinton won the meet with a 184, followed by Turner with a 192, Palmyra-Eagle with a 202, Big Foot, Parkview with a 218 and Brodhead with a 270.

Ben Bauer and Quintin Sharpe each shot a 51 to lead the Chiefs, followed by Jacob Stout with a 52 and Steven Wolski and Braydn Lentz with 54s.

Big Foot opened its week with a third-place finish April 16 at an RVC mini-meet at the Bass Creek Golf Club.

Clinton was first with a 167, followed by Palmyra-Eagle with a 180, Big Foot, Turner with a 211, Parkview with a 213 and Brodhead with a 238.

Bauer had a 47 to lead the Chiefs, followed by Wolski with a 48, Lars Larsen with a 54 and Sharpe with a 55.

The Chiefs were back in action Tuesday afternoon at Prairie Woods and travel to the Brighton Dale Invite Saturday at 9 a.m.
