Girls fall at Clinton

     The East Troy girls found themselves tied at halftime Dec. 11 at Clinton, but the host Cougars pulled away with a 22-14 second-half edge en route to a 36-28 win.

East Troy fell to 0-5 overall and 0-4 in the RVC heading into a home game Tuesday night against Edgerton. Results were unavailable at press time.

The difference against Clinton came down to free throws, East Troy coach Jeff Brown said.

Clinton made eight of 17 attempts from the charity stripe, while East Troy was just two of eight.
