The Delavan-Darien High Schools girls basketball team dropped two Southern Lakes Conference games last week, falling to Wilmot on Jan. 13 and Union Grove on Friday.

The Comets lost 53-31 to Wilmot and 55-30 to Union Grove.

D-DHS head coach Hank Johnson said his team is defiantly improving but knows they need to work on their offensive production.

Against Wilmot, Kenna Timmerman led the Comets with eight points, and Haley Mueller and Amanda Huerta added five points each.

Against Union Grove, Shelby Gramly had 13 points and Jennah Speth added six.

The Comets play at Elkhorn at 6 p.m. Friday as part of a double-header with the boys team, which plays at 7:30 p.m.
