Gerane “Geri” R. Sikes, 94, of Delavan passed away March 8, 2024, at Ridgestone Village in Delavan.
She was born in Thorp on Aug. 19, 1929. Geri graduated from Darien High School. She worked for over 30 years at Lakeland Hospital. Geri was united in marriage to Frank Sikes on April 24, 1953. He passed away Dec. 9, 2019. They loved camping together and with family.
Geri is survived by her two sons, Skip (Mary) Sikes, of Sharon, and David Sikes; two grandchildren, Nicholas (Allisa) Sikes, and Michael (Kasee) Sikes; and six great grandchildren, Lauryn, Cole, Ella, Grace, Owen and Blake.
Geri is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank; sister, Rita; and brother, Theodore.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 14, at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave., Delavan. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at North Sharon Cemetery in Sharon. Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan is assisting the family.
