CHARLOTTE MILLARD

      Charlotte D. Millard, 95, longtime resident of Delavan passed away surrounded by her family March 8, 2024, at Golden Years in Walworth.

Charlotte was born on May 18, 1928, in Elkhorn, to William and Ruth (Ray) Dunbar. She married Donald Millard on Nov. 19, 1949, at the UCC Church in Elkhorn. Don preceded her in death on Jan. 10, 1996.

Charlotte was a longtime registered nurse at Lakeland Hospital for over 37 years and retired in 1989. Following retirement, she worked at Willowfield Nursing Home and was a private home nurse.

Charlotte and her husband belonged to Williams Bay UCC church for over 70 years. Founding member of the Williams Bay Lioness Club and longtime member of Williams Bay Civic League.

Charlotte is survived by her children, Linda (Ronald) Schreiner, Vicki (Wilmer) Wittig, Craig (Jean) Millard and Rebecca (Jeff Mielczarek) Lemke; grandchildren, Jason (Carrie) Millard, Jennifer (Alan) Krueger, Lisa (Jeff) Truax, Julie (Antonio DiGioia) Schreiner, Heather (Sam Brown) Wittig, Hilary (Joey) Estes, Heidi (Matt) Wagner, Eric Lemke, Curt (Shelby) Lemke and Brian (Claire) Latke. Also survived by 16 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 17, from noon to 2 p.m. with funeral service at 2 p.m. at Williams Bay UCC Church (46 Stam Street) with the Rev. Martin Carney Officiating. Private Interment Hazel Ridge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Williams Bay Lioness Club, Williams Bay UCC Church or Badger Hospice appreciated. Lazarczyk Family Funeral Home-Delavan is serving the family.
