Ervin J. Knudsen, 88, of East Troy, found peace on April 21, 2023.
He was a Pius XI graduate. He met his wife of 66 years, Geraldine, growing up in New Berlin, and met at Holy Apostles Catholic School. They were married at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in East Troy. They made their home and raised their family in East Troy also.
Ervin was cub master for his son’s Cub Scout troop. He served as president of the Snow Snoops Snowmobile Club and was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church.
He enjoyed snowmobiling, car shows, boating, and being grandfather to his grandchildren and his great grandchildren. Ervin will be missed by all.
Survivors include his wife; son, Russell (Brigid); daughter-in-law, Cathey; grandchildren, Eric, Aubrey, Kyle, Taryn, Connor, Ryan and Clare, three great grandchildren; brother, Richard (Terri); nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Erwin and Ester; and a son, Ronald.
Funeral Mass was April 27 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church.
