Margaret MacKay, 74, of San Jose, Calif., formerly of Delavan, died on Sept. 9, 2017.
Margaret Mackay, the former Margaret (Mudge) Fleming was born Nov. 11, 1943 in Elkhorn to the late Walter and Clara Fleming. She later married Bryan Mackay in 1978. Mudge had worked for the San Jose, Calif., Mercury News until her retirement. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Mudge is survived by her husband, Bryan; daughter, Megan; son, Michael; and granddaughter, Destinee; all of San Jose, Calif. Also surviving are her brothers Wally Fleming, of Delavan, Gary, Douglas (Nancy) Fleming, of Phoenix; and sister, Mary (Eric) Nielsen, of Jupiter, Fla. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Dick and Fred.
Burial will be at a later date at St. Andrew Cemetery in Delavan.
