Douglas “Doug” Ward Jackson, 59, of Elkhorn, died July 10, 2017, at Holton Manor in Elkhorn.
He was born on Sept. 9, 1957, to Walter and Veta (Ward) Jackson. He married Dodie Kint on May 27, 1978. He was employed in sales by Wilmar Pump and Supply of Delavan. His passion was sharing his love of computers, books, comics and movies with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Dodie; three sons, David (Melissa) Jackson, of Surprise, Ariz., Scott (Rachel) Jackson, of Ft. Myers, Fla., and Jamison Jackson, of Milwaukee; seven grandchildren, Jacob, Abigail, Ethan, Chancellor, Maddox, Emma and Jax; two brothers, David (Betty) Jackson, of Georgia, and Carl Jackson, of Flordia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave. in Delavan. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home.
