DORIS E. SAUCEDO

      Doris Elaine Saucedo, 72, of Palmyra passed away on June 28, 2017.

Doris was born on Feb. 24, 1945, in Beaver Dam, to Arthur and Mayme (Ludwig) Callies. She attended Wayland Academy for two years then graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 1963.

Doris met the love of her life, Juan Saucedo in Beaver Dam and they eloped on March 9, 1967, in Laredo, Texas. He preceded her in death on July 29, 1992. On Nov. 20, 2010, she married Fred Eacock and moved to Independence, Mo.

Doris was employed by Schweiger Industries in Jefferson from 1970-1993, she was a proud union rep. She was also an Avon consultant for 17 years. Doris was mom to all the neighbor kids and opened her home to those who needed a place to hang their hat. She was kind, loving and always had a smile or a shoulder to cry on. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and always looked forward to the times when she was able to travel.

She is survived by her husband Fred Eacock of Independence, Mo.; children Juan (Vicky) Saucedo of San Jose, Calif., Arthur (Jennifer) Saucedo of Lake Mills, Reyna (Colin) Kessler of Palmyra, TJ (Jennifer) Saucedo of Gulf Point, Miss.; grandchildren Jacob, Anton, Adela, Alan, Stephen, Kevin, Maygen, Jordanne, Kaitlyn, Hunter and Brooklyn; great-grandchildren Liam and Oliver; sister, Karen (Jerry) Brown of Omro; and brother Glenn (Carol) Callies of Bogue Chitto, Miss. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Juan Saucedo.

A special thank you to Rainbow Hospice of Johnson Creek, for their assistance in providing excellent care and making Doris’ last days as comfortable as possible.

Burial will take place in the Highland Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Beaver Dam at 11 a.m. on Sept. 2, followed by a luncheon at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Beaver Dam.
