Terry John Splitter, 77, of Janesville, passed away on June 1, 2017.
He was born April 7, 1940, in Whitewater. He was born to Edward and Bernice Splitter. He was the middle of three brothers.
He is survived by his older brother, William; and his younger brother, Richard. He graduated from Whitewater High School and lived in the Whitewater area most of his life.
Terry’s hobby was basically a DIY mechanic. During his years after graduation he raced go-karts and built up a ’40 Studebaker into a “Gasser” drag car but sold it before racing it. Terry was employed at Palmyra Foundry and retired from Weiler and Co. For approximately the last four years, Terry was living in an assisted care home in Janesville.
Private family services will be at a later date. Interment will be in the Hillside Cemetery, Whitewater.
