CONNIE AGNEW

      Connie “Bucket” Agnew, 68, died April 24, 2017, at University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on May 4, 1948, in Whitewater, the daughter of Harold and Bonnie (Olson) Krohn. She married Bernie Agnew on July 23, 1977. Together, they owned and operated Foxys Bar for 17 years and she also bartended at The VFW in Oxford. She enjoyed bear hunting and fishing in Canada and loved spending time with her Canadian friends, which she always referred to as her second family.

She is survived by her husband, Bernie Agnew of Briggsville; children, Jeff (Rhonda) Agnew of Fort Atkinson, Kristie Walter of Baraboo, Chad (Jackie) Agnew of Baraboo; sister, Shirley (Bruce) Lyon of Whitewater; grandchildren, Spencer (Megan) Agnew, Dylan Agnew and Megan Agnew of Fort Atkinson, Brooke Walter of Oxford, Caden Agnew, Caylee Agnew and Calin Agnew, all of Baraboo; nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

A celebration of life will be at Foxys in Briggsville starting at 1 p.m. May 6.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
