Allen J. Newman, 41, of East Troy, died unexpectedly on March 2, 2017, at his home. He was born on March 13, 1975, in Waukesha, to Michael and Lou Ann (nee Gourdoux) Newman.
He attended Waukesha North High School. He was a member of the Red Cross and a former volunteer firefighter with the East Troy Fire Department.
He married the former Sheila Piotrowski on April 14, 2006, in Waukesha.
He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, son and brother who was always willing to help his friends and family.
Survivors include his wife, Sheila; children, Kassandra Piotrowski, Joseph, Jonathan and Madison; parents; grandmother, Betty; sisters, Marianne (Tim) Freitag, Laura Ganster and Carrie (Keary) Fath; brother, Mathew; mother-in-law, Donna Piotrowski; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Woodrow; maternal grandparents, Vincent and Vivian Gourdoux; and his father-in-law, Joseph Piotrowski.
Services will be at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 9, at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
Private family burial will be at North Prairie Cemetery.
