Suella Edler

Suella Edler, 76, of Delavan, died Jan. 19, 2017, at Village Glen Memory Care in Lake Geneva.

She was born in Benton, Ill., Oct. 28, 1940, to Everett and Etta (Collins) Moss. She married Rex Edler on Dec. 14, 1963, in Shannon, Ill. She worked for many years at the Wisconsin School for the Deaf and was a longtime member of Delavan United Methodist Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Rhonda Edler, of Delavan, Cathy (Preston Ashley) Edler, of Delavan, and Callie (Jeffrey) Davis, of Delavan; two grandchildren, Jameson Davis and Jaxon Davis; a great grandchild, Aliyah; and a brother, George Moss.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rex; granddaughter, Ashley Edler; five brothers; and two sisters.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Delavan United Methodist Church, 213 S. Second Street in Delavan. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the church. Burial will take place at 1:30 p.m. at Chapel Hills Memorial Gardens in Freeport, Ill. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Alzheimer’s Association of Southeast Wisconsin. In honor of Suella, feel free to wear purple for the funeral.
