LORRAINE L. PEPLINSKI

This feisty little German lady was born on the farm in Mukwonago Sept. 24, 1922, to the late Henry and Clara (Hennig) Schmidt. Lorraine always said she was “29 and holding.” We enjoyed and will miss hearing her one-liners such as: If your nose itches, kiss a fool, Ya know honey is sweet but it is all just bee sh**, Rain before 7 ends before 11, Cold hands, warm heart, dirty feet no sweetheart, and, A shot and a beer and a wine for a wash.”

Lorraine also baby sat for over 50 years and always lived life to the fullest. She had a special affection for animals, the outdoors, polka music, dancing and above all, her family.

Cherished wife of the late John Peplinski. They will be together to celebrate their 75 wedding anniversary Nov. 29.
