DIANNE L. WOODKEY

Dianne Louise Woodkey, 64, died Nov. 15, 2016, in Madison.

She was born July 11, 1952, in Missouri, and was a long-time Delavan resident. Dianne enjoyed singing, painting, writing, butterflies, hummingbirds and most especially gardening. She took such pride in establishing a 60-acre wildlife sanctuary with her beloved husband, Michael Woodkey, before he died in 2010.

Dianne is survived by her four sons, Alexander (Diana), with whom she proudly learned American Sign Language to communicate, Alerdale (Katy), Alroy (Jess) and Alaric (Minji) Wimer; five grandchildren, Alton, Alyssa, Alden, Alvin and Elena Wimer; and three siblings, Earl (Dorothy) Brigham, Shauna (Ron) Ziegler and Ben (Kim) Brigham. Aside from her husband, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, David and Tim Brigham.

A memorial gathering will be at Lakefront Pub, 111 W. Whitewater St., Whitewater, from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday. Contributions or cards in memory of Dianne for the memorial may be sent to her son Alerdale’s home at N7579 W. Lakeshore Dr. Whitewater, WI 53190.

Dianne was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and will be missed by all.
