Ruth and John were grade-school sweethearts and were married for 62 years.

After heart complications, her passing occurred just 19 days after John. What a true love story!

Ruth was preceded in death by her first child, Joseph John and her brothers Eugene and Raymond Labiszak.

In addition to her own family, Ruth was a devoted foster mother for many children. She also was a volunteer for East Troy Welcome Wagon and St. Peter’s Helping Hands.

Her favorite hobbies were reading and sharing books in the Little Free Library in her front yard, and playing cards and games with family. One of her favorite pastimes was watching her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren enjoy activities on Booth Lake.
