SANDRA KITTLE-KOZAK

Sandra “Sandy” Kittle-Kozak, 80, died Feb. 10, 2015, at Angel’s Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc. She was born May 1, 1935, in Alva, Okla., to Earl and Claudia (Atherton) Sanders.

She married Leonard A. Kittle in September of 1950 in Caney, Kan. He died in a military plane crash in Alaska in November of 1952.

She married Kenneth Kozak Jr., in August of 1967.

Survivors include her children, Linda Kittle (Don) Erickson, East Troy, Kim Hekel, Fairfield, Okla., Alan (Patti) Webb, East Troy; and Earl (Kim) Kozak, East Troy; grandchildren, Michael (Pam) Stephens, Menomonee Falls; Justin Webb, East Troy; Travis Webb, East Troy; Karen-Erickson (Vito) Marconi, Mukwonago, James (Beth) Erickson, Aldie, Va.; Janet Erickson Herrick, Minocoqua, and Anthony Perri, Northlake, Ill.; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She loved spending time with family and her furbabies. She also loved the Green Bay Packers.

She did not want a memorial service, but there will be a celebration of life picnic from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, at the Kozak’s residence, W4054 Little Prairie Road, East Troy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Lakeland Animal Shelter, Elkhorn, or to a fund that was dear to her heart at www.gofundme.com/9h1ptk. The Go Fund Me is for the woman who made it possible for her first husband’s remains to be found and brought home after she lost him in a military plane crash 63 years ago.

her ashes will be taken back to Caney, Kan., to be laid to rest with her first husband – Leonard.
