LaVerne C. Link, 87, of East Troy died May 7, 2014. She was born Dec. 10, 1926, in Milwaukee, to Bernhard and Magdalene (Petry) Henning.
She was a lifelong resident of East Troy and attended the East Troy School District.
She married her late husband Delbert, on April 10, 1948.
She was a former teacher of line dancing at the Senior Center in Elkhorn, a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in East Troy and a member of the seniors bowling league in Elkhorn.
Survivors include her children. Delbert Jr. “Bud”, of Florida, Ronald of Colorado, Kenneth (Jane) of Union Grove, Deborah Neumann of Illinois, Julie Benson of Florida, Christine (Robert) Kniep of East Troy and Robert (Kim) of California; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Beverly Link of East Troy, other relatives and many friends also survive her.
She was further preceded in death by her brothers Bud, Roland and Don.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 13, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1936 Emery St., East Troy. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment in Oakridge Cemetery will follow.
Memorials to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church are suggested.
