BEATRICE DOERING

Beatrice Doering, 88, of Clinton, died Jan. 11, 2014, at Alden Meadow Park Health Care Center in Clinton. She was born July 20, 1925 to Edward and Anna (Maas) Kitzman.

She was baptized in September 1925 and confirmed in November 1940. She graduated from Sharon High School in 1945.

She married Donald Doering in June 1946 and had two sons, Richard and Dennis. She worked most of her married life at Bradley’s Department Store in Delavan and Oaks Manufacturing in Elkhorn. Her husband and both sons served in the U.S. Navy.

She is survived by her son, Richard Doering; granddaughter, Sara Doering-Cruz; grandson Matt Boutelle; three grandsons, Thomas Doering, Daniel Doering and Matthew Doering; four great-grandchildren, Teri, Michael, Noah and Colton; three sisters, Mary Ann Young, Gladys Black and Doris Seibert. She was preceded in passing by her husband, Donald; son, Dennis; two brothers, Glen Doering and Ronald Doering; and one sister, Barbara.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Jan. 16 at Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan.  Visitation will from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Private Burial will be at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Lake Geneva. Monroe Funeral Home is assisting the family.
