DORIS A. MICHEALSON

Doris A. Michealson, 73, of Sugar Creek, died July 11, 2013, at her home. She was born on Sept. 9, 1939, to the late Clarence and Josephine (Boviall) Michealson.

She attended the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater where she earned her bachelor’s degree in art. She was a very talented artist and specialized in ceramics. She loved making and donating ceramics to many different organizations in the area. She loved flowers and antiques. She loved to travel and was always busy doing something.

She was not only an accomplished artist in many mediums, but also a ceramics teacher for 40 years. She was involved with the community, donating her time and talents to raise money for SMILES and Lakeland Animal Shelter and Hospice.

She held several “ Christmas open houses” with multiple beautifully decorated Christmas trees, asking those attending to bring donations for the animal shelter.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and sister and will be sadly missed by all of us and her kittens.
