DOROTHY L. LAGG

Dorothy L. Lagg, 96 of Delavan, died April 13, 2013 at Our House Memory Care Facility, Whitewater.

She was born Feb. 15, 1917, in Oelrichs, S.D., to the late Emmett and Lillian (McCain) Logue.

She married Adolph “Al” Lagg on March 22, 1947, in Milwaukee; he preceded her in death on Aug. 15, 1994.

She was employed at various places in the area, was a homemaker and a member of Delavan United Methodist Church. She was an avid bowler and served as a past-secretary of the Women’s WalRoc Bowling Association.

Survivors include her daughters; Sharon Price, Tempe, Ariz., Patricica (William) Knaus, Eugene, Ore., Lisbeth (Douglas) Weiss, Anthem, Ariz., Bonnie (James) Minette, Whitewater,  and Susan (Roy) May, Sarasota, Fla.; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; brothers; John “Jack” Sherman and Francis Sherman; and her nieces and nephews survive.

She was further preceded in death by her granddaughter, Dori Sherman, three sisters and four brothers.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday April 23, at the United Methodist Church, 213 S. Second St. The Rev. Susan Bresser will officiate.

Memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association or Delavan United Methodist Church are suggested.
