The joining of young voices

      Eight LINCS fifth grade choir students participate in the WI Choral Director’s Association All-State Children’s Choir last weekend in Appleton. The students, Maria Verduzco, Alexandra Martin, Andrew Swartz, Joshua Kirley, Emma Clarksen, Marco Wence, Angela Phillippi and Emma Weigel, are pictured with guest director Greg Douma, a high school choir director and artistic director of the Allegro Choral Academy for grades 2 through 9 in Minnesota. The choir featured 110 voices comprised of fifth and sixth graders from throughout Wisconsin. LINCS music teacher Christine Hayes helped the local students prepare for the big performance.
