To conclude its summer reading programs, the Irvin L. Young Memorial Library will welcome the Miller and Mike Show at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, July 31.

The Irvin L. Young Memorial Library has only a few remaining programs so residents are encouraged to check them out and spend at least a few dog days of summer at the local library.

• Toddler Drive-In Movie Time is on Friday, July 25 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Bring the little ones to watch age-appropriate movies in the air-conditioned Community Room.

• The second Scenic Cinema Brown Bag Lunch will be on Monday, July 28 at 1 p.m. Join in for lunch and another edition of the Sentimental Reflections video magazine. The program will explore antique farm machines, Fall Creek Falls, Tennessee, the Elkhart Jazz Festival, Huntsville, Alabama, and the “Hoosiers” inspiration.  Bring a lunch and stop in the Community Room of the library for an hour of scenic relaxation.

• The Summer Reading Programs at the library conclude with the Miller and Mike Show on Thursday, July 31 at 1:30 pm.

Miller and Mike have worked all over the United States and beyond. They have entertained audiences with the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Apple Vacation Resorts, MTV, The Today Show, Extreme Makeover and the Travel Channel. Right now they perform out of Wisconsin at libraries, fairs, festivals and corporate events. The energy they bring might be unlike any other. Combining circus skills and audience participation with good clean comedy Miller and Mike are making memories one show at a time.

After the show enjoy free ice cream during the library’s annual Ice Cream Social. This event is for all ages.  Please register to insure adequate amounts of ice cream.
