A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, April 2 for a Greendale woman charged with selling nearly a pound of marijuana in Whitewater.

Emily J. Wilmoth, 24, was charged Feb. 11 in Walworth County Circuit Court with delivering marijuana as a party to a crime.

According to the criminal complaint:

City of Whitewater police executed a controlled purchase of marijuana from Wilmoth and Paul Sisler, 25, of Greendale, on July 19 on South Pearson Lane in Whitewater. An informant provided $3,300 to Sisler, and Wilmoth provided the informant with 1,295.7 grams of marijuana – 13.7 ounces.

Because the amount of marijuana was more than 1,000 grams, the offense is a Class G felony, punishable by up to 10 years in prison and $25,000 in fines.

Sisler has not yet been charged but was convicted of selling marijuana in Walworth County in 2012.
