4-H Kids’ College will be held from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at the Government Center, 100 W. Walworth St., Elkhorn.

The event is designed to get Walworth County youth thinking, doing, and creating. Whether youth are enrolled in 4-H, thinking about 4-H, or not currently involved in 4-H, they are invited to participate in Kids’ College.

Each youth may choose up to two sessions learning about different topics such as: Worms, Fresh Floral Arranging, Looking Good, Healthy Foods for Yourself and Others, Posting Pizzazz, Leather Crafting, Beginning Rocketry, Intermediate Rocketry, Dry Felting with Wool, Recycled Art, Circuit City, Design Dynamics, Cake Decorating Fun, Painting with Acrylics, Drama, Mystery Wildlife, Scale Model Basics, and The World of Robotics.

Some classes have a material fee, but many are free of charge. Hot lunch, prepared by the 4-H Out-of-State Exchange, will be available for purchase at the event for $5.

Cloverbud members, grades K-2, are invited to participate in their own Cloverbud Adventure class. The workshop engages the youngest members in a variety of fun, interactive activities to inspire creativity, awaken taste buds, connect them to nature and/or engage in physical activity. Members of the Walworth County 4-H Junior Leaders’ Association lead the classes.
