Those who attend the parade are invited to join various businesses in downtown Whitewater for a variety of holiday activities, including: storytelling, gingerbread house building, vintage holiday gift shopping, and snacking on roasted chestnuts.

Bring the whole family out and enjoy storytelling beginning at 5 p.m. at the following Whitewater businesses:  FrameDog, 145 W. Main St., Dales Bootery, 155 W. Main St., and Quiet Hut Sports, 186 W. Main St.

After hearing a holiday story, stop by the Discover Whitewater office and join Downtown Whitewater, Inc. by the fire for roasted chestnuts as well as featuring Living Word Fellowship offering gingerbread house-building and hot chocolate.

“Every year I see more people gathering around the fire and trying the chestnuts. This is a great chance to spend more time with your family. It’s a wonderful time of the year and we want as many people as possible to come downtown and see all that it has to offer,” Brodnicki said.
