Whitewater Cares seeks donations

For those wanting to help brighten the holiday season for people in the local community, six downtown Whitewater businesses are set to collect donations for their favorite charities.

Dales Bootery, Frame Dog, GMA Printing, Hamilton House, Studio 84 and Quiet Hut Sports will accept donations for Bethel House of Whitewater, the Whitewater Food Pantry and the Holiday Care Program of Walworth County next week Friday and Saturday, Nov. 15-16.

“We are happy to provide these locations as a conduit for people who wish to help out but don’t know where to help. One hundred percent of these donations will reach people who need help with food, kitchen supplies, art supplies and warm winter accessories,” Downtown Whitewater Board President and Quiet Hut Owner Dave Saalsaa said.
