This year’s Kettle Moraine Studio Tour – in its 15th year – is slated 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 12-13.

The tour will feature the studios of seven area artists:

• Tom Rauschke and Kaaren Wilken’s   Xn-trix Studio, W625 Little Prairie Rd., Palmyra;

• Jeff Noska and Barbara Reinhart’s Composite Clay Studio, W359 S2870 Hwy. 67, Dousman;

• The Hohf Piano Workshop, N9009 Tamarack Rd. Whitewater;

• The William Lempke Studio at S42 W32278 Spring Ridge Ln., Waukesha (near Genesee Depot), and;

• The Mary Nimi Studio, S78 W31557 Wingate Ct., Mukwonago.

The work of 10 artists will be featured at the seven studios

, including Jef Raasch – intricate ceramic creations; Dwayne Sperber – furniture made from reborn trees; Mary Nimi – multiple medium sculptures; Sherida Wank – wearable art; Bob Hohf – art of the piano; Kaaren Wilken – metal animals; Tom Rauschke – wood carved creations; and William Lemke – black and white and color photography.

Two new artists joining the tour this year are Stephanie Copoulos-Selle who will show her award-winning artist books, prints, and paintings, and Tim Gourdoux, who will be displaying his most recent series of watercolor paintings inspired by the rich hues of the Kettle Moraine.

“Although I’ve personally   known Tim since the late 60’s when we were both at the University of Whitewater, this is the first time we’ve been able to talk him into showing his wonderful water color paintings. Besides being a retired art teacher, Tim is also a talented carpenter and woodworker, so for this exhibition he’s making his own custom frames for his paintings,” Raasch said.
