Man charged with selling prescription drugs on campus

 A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 14 for an Illinois man charged with selling prescription drugs on the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater campus.

      Matthew P. Santillan, 21, of Arlington Heights, Ill., was charged April 12 in Walworth County Circuit Court with two counts of delivering Schedule I or II narcotics and delivering Schedule I, II or III non-narcotics.

      According to the criminal complaint:

      City of Whitewater police conducted controlled buys of controlled substances from Santillan on Sept. 21 and Oct. 1 and 17.

      On Sept. 21 and Oct. 1, an informant bought six pills of Oxycodone from Santillan in the parking lot of Winther Hall on North Prairie Street.

      On Oct. 17, an informant bought 15 pills of Concerta, an attention deficit hyperactivity disorder medication, in the parking lot of Anderson Library on Wyman Mall.
