The Walworth County Health Department and Sheriff’s Office are partnering with the Wisconsin National Guard to offer two additional community COVID-19 testing events, both of which will be drive-thru sites.

The first testing event will be held at Big Foot High School in Walworth on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 14 and 15 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Big Foot High School is at 401 Devils Ln. in Walworth.

The second event will be held the Lake Geneva Middle School on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 28 and 29 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Lake Geneva Middle School is at 600 N. Bloomfield Rd. in Lake Geneva.

Symptoms are not required for testing and no appointments are necessary. Those receiving tests will not be charged. Members of the Wisconsin National Guard will administer nasal swab tests and will manage the specimen samples.

Testing is open to any Wisconsin resident 5 years of age and older. Capacity is estimated at 1,000 and testing will be available while supplies last.

A Photo ID is not required but the following current information is: name, address, phone number, date of birth and email address (if applicable.)

“Many people with COVID-19 symptoms have experienced challenges getting tested. We also know that not everyone that contracts this disease shows symptoms,” said Elizabeth Aldred, Health and Human Services Director.

“The goal of this clinic is to provide easy access to testing for anyone in the community,” she added.
