The 90th Williams Bay Women’s Banquet will be held Tuesday, May 2, at Conference Point Camp. The annual banquet has been attended by local women since the first event was organized in 1927.

This year’s attendees are encouraged to dress up in 1920s clothing to celebrate the anniversary of the first banquet held all those years ago. Chairing this year’s event is Sandy Johnson, with assistance from her sister, Nancy Johnson-Tourtouropoulos.

The schedule is as follows:

  • 5 to 6 p.m., optional social hour/carpool destination, Lions Fieldhouse
  • 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., dinner and program, Conference Point Camp Dining Hall (buffet dinner begins at 6:15)
  • 8:30 p.m., after party w/cash bar, Pier 290 Restaurant & Bar

Parking is limited at Conference Point Camp so attendees should plan to carpool from the social hour at the Fieldhouse in Williams Bay. There, have a glass of wine, a cracker or two, and meet up with friends before heading to the Conference Point Camp Dining Hall. The buffet sinner will begin promptly at 6:15 p.m.

Tickets are $25 per person and are available through April 24 at Burrough’s Flooring and at Barrett Memorial Library or by calling Evelyn Starck at (262) 949-6692, or Janet O’Neill at (262) 245-6106.

The banquet is open to all area women.
