After a four-day trial that ended Jan. 20, a jury found a Walworth man guilty of all four felony charges in a sexual assault case against him.

Silverio A. Moreno, 33, was found guilty of repeated sexual assault of a child and three counts of causing a child younger than 13 years old to view or listen to sexual activity.

Moreno’s bond was revoked and he was taken into custody in court Jan. 20. He faces up to 97-½ years in prison and $75,000 in fines and is scheduled to be sentenced April 6.

According to the criminal complaint, an 11-year-old girl described Moreno sexually assaulting her on multiple occasions over a two-year period at three residences in the Village of Walworth beginning when she was 9 years old.

The girl also described incidents when Moreno showed her “inappropriate” videos on his phone of “naked people” kissing and “reproducing,” according to the complaint.
