An area business and group of middle school students recently teamed up – with a helping hand from a slew of others – for a project to construct a playhouse.
Now nearly complete, the playhouse will be raffled off as a fundraiser for New Beginnings APFV’s domestic violence shelter.
Tickets will be $25 or 5/$100, and only 500 will be sold. They can be purchased beginning Aug. 28 at the Wausau Homes Elkhorn office, the Elkhorn Area Chamber of Commerce and at the Walworth County Visitors Bureau.
The drawing will take place Oct. 19 at Elkhorn’s Oktoberfest event.
