A nice start

      Elkhorn Oktoberfest on Oct. 20 started out with blue sky and sunshine but quickly gave way to high winds, rain and sleet. It included a 5K run/2-mile walk, vendors, food including a chili cook-off, wine and beer tasting and the revealing of this year’s Christmas Card design but was closed early in the afternoon due to safety concerns.
