St. John’s Church, 104 S. Broad St., Elkhorn, will offer Vacation Bible School July 10 through 14 for kids 4 years old up to those who have completed sixth grade.
The evening program will begin with a free family dinner from 5:30 to 6 p.m. followed by a lesson, songs, activities, and games from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
“This year’s theme is ‘Gadgets & Gizmos,’ emphasizing how we are each uniquely wired and wonderfully made by God,” Pastor Tom De Groot states in a press release.
Registration is open to the public and free to all participants. Registration can be done the first evening, online at stjohnselkhorn.com/vbs or by calling the church office at (262) 723-2901.
The public is also welcome to attend a poolside worship service and party at Sunset Pool, Devendorf St., Elkhorn, on Sunday, July 16 at 10 a.m.
The outdoor service will include baptisms, music until noon, and a celebration of the completion of Vacation Bible School.
Attendees will have free access to the pool following the service and the first 150 guests will receive a ticket for a free hot dog, popcorn and water.
