An Elkhorn man was sentenced Jan. 13 to eight years in prison and six years extended supervision for touching a 7-year-old girl’s buttocks.

Gregory A. Lindmeier, 35, pleaded guilty Oct. 12 to a lesser charge of second-degree sexual assault of a child, which carries maximum penalties of 40 years in prison and $100,000 in fines. He was previously set to face trial in August on a charge of first-degree sexual assault, sexual contact with a child younger than 13 years old, which carries a maximum sentence of 60 years in prison.

According to the criminal complaint, the 7-year-old girl reported that Lindmeier asked her to defecate on the floor on more than one occasion. The girl said Lindmeier would pick up the feces afterward, and on Nov. 16, 2015, gently touched her butt after she defecated, according to the complaint.

The girl and her 11-year-old sister said Lindmeier would frequently say “nakey party” and have the girls remove their clothes and run around, according to the complaint. They said Lindmeier also showed them his genitals multiple times, according to the complaint.

Lindmeier allegedly admitted asking the 7-year-old girl to defecate on the floor and having “nakey parties,” according to the complaint. He told a detective he is a “sick, twisted man that needs to be locked up” and said he did those things for sexual arousal, according to the complaint.
