Chamber’s Corn and Brat Roast in downtown Elkhorn

The Elkhorn Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its Corn and Brat Days this weekend in Elkhorn’s Veterans Park on the downtown square.

Formerly the Elkhorn Rotary Club’s Festival of Summer, the chamber’s Corn and Brat Days will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 5, and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 6, all in downtown Elkhorn.

Corn and Brat Days will feature a selection of artisan vendors around the square on Friday, with corn and brats being served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. by the Elkhorn Rotary Club, a platinum sponsor, and the chamber office.

Food, vendors and festival fun will be available throughout the day on Saturday and also feature a Community Stage, sponsored by TDS Telecom. Corn and brats will be served from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Community Stage performances throughout the day will include:

  • Dream Studio at 9:30 a.m.;
  • The Elkhorn Flying Dragons at 10:30 a.m.;
  • The Walworth County Cloggers at 11:30 a.m.; and
  • Toe-to-Toe Ballet School at 12:30 p.m.

Lunch tickets are available at the Elkhorn Area Chamber of Commerce, 203 E. Walworth St., Elkhorn. Tickets cost $6 and include a brat or hot dog, Little Miss Sweet Pea’s corn on the cob, a choice of soda or water and a cookie.
