Swing batter!

Charlie Hernandez takes a swing at an inflatable tee-ball game at the Oct. 17 Oktoberfest celebrations in Elkhorn. This game was one of several children’s activities available in the park amongst the numerous vendors surrounding the square. Elkhorn Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Chris Clapper said this year’s Oktoberfest had one of the best attendances and in its 10th year 950 tasting glasses were sold at the beer tent, up by about 200 from last year.
