High school celebrates Homecoming, Spirit Week

Tickets for the East Troy High School 2015 Homecoming Dance are on sale in the school cafeteria during both lunch periods. Tickets are $7 in advance or $10 at the door. The dance will be from 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 2.

Homecoming week activities include:

  • Sept. 28 – ‘Merica Monday. Students should show their patriotic side by dressing in red, white and blue. Buff Puff, the men’s volleyball tournament, will take place during resource in the new gym. Student spectators must pay $1 to attend.
  • Sept. 29 – Class Color Day. Students should wear as much of their class’s color as possible. Class colors are: black for seniors, blue for juniors, orange for sophomores and green for freshmen. Buff Puff day two will be during resource in the new gym. Student spectators must pay $1 to attend.
  • Sept. 30 – Where’d you go? Wednesday. Students should dress in as much camouflage clothing as possible. The annual girls football Powder Puff Game will be at 6:15 p.m. on the football field.
  • Oct. 1 – Throwback Thursday. Students can turn back the clock and dress like someone or something of the past.
  • Oct. 2 – Spirit Day. Students should come decked out in their black and yellow Trojan gear. The pep rally will be from 1:48 p.m. to 2:50 p.m. The parade leaves high school at 3:30 p.m. and travels through the village square. Kickoff for the Homecoming football game is 7 p.m.
