Kiwanis Club duck race set for Saturday

The Kiwanis Club of Greater East Troy will have its 17th annual duck race at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19, on the stream next to the W2797 Highway ES, one mile west of East Troy.

Proceeds from the race are used to help local children in need.

The price for small duck tickets is three for $5 or $2 each. First prize is $100, second $50 and third is $25.

Large corporate/business duck sponsorship is $25. The prize for this race is $100 and a custom-made engraved plaque.

There will also be a $50 attendance prize awarded to one individual who is present the day of the race.

Tickets are available from all Kiwanis members and at First Citizens State Band – East Troy office, 2546 Main St., and at Citizens Bank of Mukwonago, 2541 Main St., East Troy.

Ticket will also be sold outside Frank’s Piggly Wiggly Market, 3238 Main St., East Troy, on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 6-7 and Sept. 13-14.
