Candidacy papers for local elections due Jan. 6

School Board has one seat up for election in spring

Nomination papers for the Spring 2015 General Election on April 7 could begin circulating on Monday.

Candidates for the spring election have until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 6, to file notice of candidacy. Notice of Non-Candidacy for anyone not running for re-election in the area races are also due at 5 p.m. on Jan. 6.

Primary elections will be held on Feb. 17, 2015, if needed.

School Board

The East Troy Community School District has one open seat for a School Board member in the spring election.

The open board position is held by Martha Bresler.

For more information, interested parties can find a Board Election Packet on the district’s website, www.easttroy.k12.wi.us.

Candidacy papers are available at the District Office, 2043 Division St., or by calling (262) 642-6710 ext. 1221, to have them mailed.

Drawing for ballot position will be at 3 p.m. on Jan. 13, 2015.

Village of East Troy

In the Village of East Troy, there are four seats up for election, currently held by Village President Randy Timms and Trustees Fred Douglas, Chris Gultch and Dusty Stanford.

Town of East Troy

The Town of East Troy Municipal Judge position is up for election. Judge Daniel Heidelmeier holds the position. The Town Board seats held by Town Board Chairman Joe Klarkowski and Supervisors Clayton Montez and Barb Church are also up for election.

Town of Troy

In the Town of Troy, Town Board Chairman John Kendall, Supervisors BenBourdo and Kathleen Tober are up for re-election along with Clerk-Treasurer Michele Stute.
