Vaccine shortage leads to cancellation of flu clinics

ProHealth Care has cancelled several upcoming flu clinics due to an unanticipated delay in the shipment of seasonal flu vaccine.

According to a press release from ProHealth, the healthcare provider will work to reschedule additional Flu Clinic dates and times when the vaccine becomes available.

Before attending a scheduled ProHealth Care Flu Clinic, visit ProHealthCare.org/Flu to ensure vaccine is available or call your local ProHealth Care clinic.

Annual flu vaccinations are recommended for everyone six months of age or older. The cost for a flu vaccine, flu mist or quadrivalant vaccine through a ProHealth Care Flu Clinic is $30. A high-dose flu vaccine is also available for individuals age 65 or older for $35 and a pneumonia vaccine is $75. \                 Payment must be made at the time of vaccination to receive special flu clinic pricing. Cash, checks and credit cards payments are accepted. Insurance plans will be billed upon request.
