Kiwanis Club duck race is Sept. 21

The Kiwanis Club of Greater East Troy is holding it 15th annual duck race at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21. The race is held on the stream next to W2797 Highway ES, one mile west of East Troy.

Proceeds from the event are used to fund the needs of local children.

The price for small duck tickets is three for $5, or $2 each. Prizes for this race are $100 for first prize, $50 for second and $25 for third.

Large corporate, or business duck sponsorship is $25 each. The prize for this race is $100 and a custom made engraved plaque. There is also a $50 attendance prize awarded to one individual who is present the day of the race.

Tickets are available from all Kiwanis members, at First Citizens State Bank–East Troy, 2546 Main St., and Citizens Bank of Mukwonago, 2541 Main St., East Troy.

Tickets will also be available outside Frank’s Piggly Wiggly Market, 3238 Main St., on Sept. 13-14.
