DOT looking for input on traffic signal in Delavan

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is still looking for feedback from the public on its proposed Highway 50 resurfacing project between Lake Lawn Drive and Highway 67 in Walworth County.

As part of the project, the traffic signal at Town Hall Road will be replaced. The existing signal is located just off the DOT right of way and along the outer boundary of the Delavan Community Park. The signal would not move, and a minor permanent limited easement would be acquired.

The DOT is looking for feedback due to the easement before July 3. Comments can be sent to wisconsindot.gov/Pages/projects/by-region/se/50delavan/default.aspx.

I don’t know about the light at Town Hall Road but something needs to be done at the intersection of F and 50 near Pirates Cove and the old roller skating rink. It’s already a dangerous intersection with many accidents and congestion and will only get worse once Lake Lawn finishes their expansion.
