Police seek information on missing man

The Walworth County Sheriff’s Office is looking for Brian Bates, of Williams Bay, who has not been seen or heard from since Aug. 24.

The Walworth County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information on the whereabouts of a 45-year-old Williams Bay man who was reported missing by his family on Sept. 4.

According to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office, Brian Bates has not been seen or heard from him since Aug. 24.

Bates was last seen at his Williams Bay residence. He was last reported wearing a T-shirt, blue jeans and tennis shoes. Bates has no mode of transportation or cell phone.

Bates frequents the Kishwauketoe Nature Conservancy in Williams Bay, according to the press release.

The Sheriff’s Office has searched the Kishwauketoe Nature Conservancy along with a gravel pit near Bates’ residence.
