Curtis Jay Welch, 61, of Delavan, passed away July 21, 2018, at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn. He was born in Elkhorn on Feb. 26, 1957, to Melvin and Mary (Reader) Welch. He worked for many years as a carpenter.
Curtis is survived by a son, Kalan (Stephanie Zickert) Welch, of Delavan; his mother, Mary, of Neshkoro; three sisters, Debra (Geff) Sawtelle, of Neshkoro, Karla (Alex) Larsen, of Darien, and Sharon (Jeff Roberts) Welch, of Delavan; significant other, Nancy Liden; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Curtis is preceded in death by his father, Melvin.
A memorial gathering will be from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday at Greenies, 700 S. Second St., Delavan. The family thanks Dr. Poplar and Aurora Lakeland Hospital and Hospice staff for the wonderful care Curtis received.
Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan is assisting the family.
